sooooo i dont like listening to reviewers lol i prefer the rest pf the gaming community. this game is looking awesome, is it def worth it?
one preview i read said it plays like mass effect and borderlands but with mmo-ness. both of those are two of my fav games ever and i love sci fi so this seems like a no brainer. still id like your opinion please.
There's a demo on psn and live. Been up for about two weeks. The demo actually sold me on the game. Not sure why its getting so much hate, its an awesome game
i will admit its a bit glitchy but id hardly call it a mess.
positives:
1. gun customizing

6. decent challenge

negatives
1. a little glitchy
2. could use more multiplayer options
3. perhaps a little more gameplay features to add in some more variety
im 2hrs in, 8.5/10 for me
i did and its an excellent game
this is what i was thinking lol im a huge fan of ms games too and the 360 but even i can admit they suck at story telling. even halo's stories are mediocre at best
agreed. i dont understand why digital games seem to cost as much or more than a physical copy. makes no sense, no physical object needing to be produced and no shelf space taken at a retailer. should be cheaper for those two reasons alone
also blocking used sales would be a fatal mistake, not near fatal. the ignorant customers would buy, get pissed, return. those who are informed wouldnt even bother, esp knowing the competition doesnt.

i disagree. i bought it for 60 and so far its a blast, esp with a friend. does need more multiplayer options and alpha and bravo arent as cool as salem and rios but they are cool still. it is also a little buggy.
that said though, the gun and soldier customization is great though with lots of options and the story is decent so far. level design is also well done and the difficulty on hard is decent. im excited to see what its like on insane
its goal was 3.4 million people. it didnt sell that many.
that said, according to vg chartz, it sold 1.44 million across all platforms which at $60 is roughly 86.4 million dollars. even if they only get half of that back thats still about 40 million and i dont know how much it cost to produce but its doubtful it was that much.
im certain tomb raider made profit and will continue to do so, they just need to be realistic about how much it can sell in a few week...
very aware, and i stand by what i said. its the first real RE game in years. Im esp happy to see it coming to consoles now too because it looks vastly better than RE6

i know what it said when i bought it, i dont dispute that. im just saying the whole idea of a season pass should be so someone can easily get all the dlc at one nice convenient price point. dont bother with a season pass if its not gonna include all the dlc, just keep it broken up like they are anyway
it would be the equivalent of a tv show you buy per episode selling you a "season pass" and then having an extra episode or two thats not included. flippin stupid

the hilarious part is "balancing".....noth ing about borderlands is balanced lol so why bother now. your a one man wrecking crew solo or a team of pure destruction. the game is easy as shit because you are way overpowered so clearly nobody took the time to balance anything

agreed. i payed 30 bones for that season pass. thats half the cost of the full game no reason i shouldnt get half a games worth of dlc. so thats at least 20hrs worth of campaign, like 50 new enemies, 2 new bosses, and 2 character classes
also whats the point of a season pass if your not gonna release all dlc under it. seems like a huge screw job to me.
idk how its doing but i hope it eventually sells enough to get a sequel because the new tomb raider is one hell of a game. 9.5/10 imo, loooooooved the sp. multiplayer was lame which is why i deducted .5
he's 13. he has no need to have a cell phone let a lone an iphone. kids should get cellphones at about 16 when they can get a job and let it be their first responsibility. id bet all that money that if it was his own credit card he wouldnt have made all those purchases
